Chai Spice Snickerdoodles

Snickerdoodles and chai spice go so well together, they might as well be combined! It's the perfect sweet treat to share with loved ones this holiday season.

Serving: 2 dozen cookies 
Preparation Time: 30 minutes
Cook Time: 1 hour 


  • 2 cups of sugar 
  • 2 tsps. ground cinnamon 
  • 1 tsp. ground ginger 
  • 1 tsp. ground cardamom 
  • 1/2 tsp. ground allspice 
  • 1 cup butter, softened 
  • 2 eggs 
  • 1 1/2 tsps. vanilla extract 
  • 2 3/4 cups all purpose flour 
  • 2 tsps. cream of tartar 
  • 1 tsp. baking soda 
  • 1/8 tsp. salt 


  • In a small bowl, combine sugar, cinnamon, ginger, cardamom and allspice. Remove 1/2 cup of sugar mixture to shallow bowl and set aside.
  • In a large bowl, cream butter and remaining sugar mixture until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs and vanilla. 
  • Combine the flour, cream of tartar, baking soda and salt, gradually add to creamed mixture and mix well. 
  • Shape into 2-inch balls and roll in reserved sugar mixture. 
  • Bake at 350 degrees for 12 minutes or until edges begin to brown. 
  • Cool and enjoy with a cup of chai!
